Red Button Match: The Official Coventry City vs Swansea City Match Thread

No point having creative players with Cooper in charge. All function and no flak. And last night play by numbers gave way to hoofball.

Think we can now safely say that Cooper has not got the ability to coach good fast flowing football, also we do seem to be punching above our weight results wise with his style of coaching, but i guess Ayew is the main instigator for that.

The question is why he persists with us playing this turgid football when it very rarely gets the best out of us

Because it's all he can do.

We're eighteen months into his tenure, he's signed numerous players, many of whom he's worked with before and we're arguably a worse team than we were before he took over. Definitely a worse team to watch. Barring a miracle, this is as good as it gets. He must get down on his knees every night and give thanks for Andre Ayew, because without him imagine how much worse things could be.

"imagine how much worse things could be" - I'd really rather not.
