Wow how wrong was I. Shocking.

A point out of six against Huddersfield and Coventry wow

Huddersfield just beat Derby. Forest just rescued a point against Rotherham what were supposed to be 2 of the top sides in the league.

Not far off but add in the worrying omission that he wanted us to match Coventry's physicality and endeavour and then it doesn't take long to understand why we played so poorly.

The question is why he persists with us playing this turgid football when it very rarely gets the best out of us

Best decision I have made this year is to have refund on season tickets. I watched game on sky red button and the match was just awful to watch, i would be crying in my porridge this morning parting £10 for it.

Cooper might get the required results to keep some people on board, but from entertainment point of view we are dire to watch

Because it's all he can do.

We're eighteen months into his tenure, he's signed numerous players, many of whom he's worked with before and we're arguably a worse team than we were before he took over. Definitely a worse team to watch. Barring a miracle, this is as good as it gets. He must get down on his knees every night and give thanks for Andre Ayew, because without him imagine how much worse things could be.

I can't argue with you. The sad indictment is the sheet lack of flair in our team. It's now functional, no room for Celina or Peterson. The only two creative players we have are MGW and a midfielder deemed not good enough for Bristol City. But they're both English so it's ok

Yup. Lowe and Gyokeres are going the same way. Forwards, but not out and out strikers. Therefore Cooper hasn't got a clue what to do with them. For the most part Ayew has carried this attack since the start of last season.

Grimes sums up his approach and the apporoach of a lot of these new classroom coaches. It's all about the stats. Good stats outweigh actually being good. A player like Celina who may drift in and out of games yet still conjure up moments of magic will always play second fiddle.

MGW badly missed last night. We have missed a trick in the midfield recruitment. We have no real quality in there and when we need to chuck Fulton in there we are really are lowering the bar. Maybe we need to take the captaincy off Grimes and free him up !?

One positive was Connor’s two clearances off the line....

Issue is I'm trying to give him patience, my other problem is that now arguably his squad is weaker than when he started and he has that excuse. But part of that is down to him and his lack of use of the aforementioned options, all of which bring creativity to a squad sadly lacking it.

Unless we have a Brewster to pull us out of the mud we are going to be a very turgid watch all season with results similar and probably worse than last season. And that is depressing.

Except for Ayew we are f*cked
