Regan Poole?

What sort of market do you expect us to be shopping in then?

Well we scouted in Scotland, and foreign markets all through our recent history, considering youth football in Europe is far superior to England and a lot lot cheaper just emphasises where we need to look, the next Joel Piroe is out there and signing two midtable championship players with average stats in this league for years is just lazy recruitment and probably expensive

Brexit has decreased the scope of us being able to sign players from Europe (that are at a level that would come to us). Piroe was a very rare exception. I can't recall us signing a single other player permanently from the continent besides Petersen since our premier league days. I totally agree with you, we should think outside the box, but we generally don't- who was the last player we signed from Scotland.

All for looking at players from more obscure locations but they need to be complimented by experienced championship players and the likes of DaSilva who would have been relatively cheap and plays in a position where we're short fits that bill.

Have you ever watched Dasilva? i've watched him about 10 times over the last few years and some at youth level, hasn't got it, never had it.. This bloke won't put on a Welsh shirt because he believes he'll play for England.. that's the type of delusion we're dealing with here and cheap isn't in his narrative.. for a bloke who thinks he knows everything, you don't know much about him, but wants to sign him, bit odd IMO

Well done for not having any retort to the points I made in my last post. You could have been more graceful in conceding defeat mind you.

Do you have a link to quotes regarding him thinking he's good enough for England or did you just make that bit up? Have you ever considered that he may not consider himself Welsh and thus doesn't want to play for Wales? He's eligible for Wales but has played England youth throughout unlike his brothers who for a time did play for Wales youth, so bizarre point and not sure what bearing that would have on us signing him.

Maybe we wouldn't pay his wages, I don't know, but Bristol City and Coventry aren't exactly financial powerhouses and he's signed for both, so how high could his demands actually be? Coventry already have Bidwell who left us because we didn't want maintain his parachute payment awarded wages, so I wouldn't have thought they'd be signing another expensive full back.

You think he's not very good, you should have left it at that.

As I said, you know little about him, but you will soldier on, like the time when you couldn't fathom that English was the brainchild of royal descendants because it's taught In our secondary schools up and down the land, fair play, I'll stick by it when I say you're the thickest poster to post on these boards and it takes some doing

Well.... there's not a great deal to soldier on against - I've addressed all your points and you've come back with nothing, ignoring my retorts to drag up an utterly baffling argument from months back on a totally unrelated topic, on which you similarly had no comeback to me on.

You must have a fair sense of humour though fair play to call anyone else thick but write:

"like the time when you couldn't fathom that English was the brainchild of royal descendants because it's taught In our secondary schools up and down the land"

Do you want to try writing that again so it's at least slightly understandable?

But they do already have Bidwell so DaSilva will have joined them knowing that he won't be an automatic starter, while we for example don't have any full backs.

However it is going to be difficult to attract players while we are managerless.

Yeah good point, some reason we don’t seem very good in the free agent market, did we sign Piroe with no manager?
