Oprah really was useless I thought. Felt like there were quite a few leading questions and overreactions to create drama (wouldn't expect anything less from the Americans!). Quite a poor interview all in all.

There is no way those questions weren't flagged up prior to the interview and the answers rehearsed. Or redone to get the 'right' reactions and camera shots. All set up to give them the easiest ride to say what they wanted in the context that they wanted and to address the allegations of selfishness in the kindest possible way.

I don't know what the truth is, only they do, and I don't care (I do find it quite amusing that 'butter wouldn't melt' mind), but what I can't be doing with is the need for self justification. I suppose it's the moronic social media generation we are so unfortunate to be suffering, but if your lives are so great now, then live them, and STFU.

I do think that she was targeted, and I do think it is for the reasons stated. Britain is at its core a deeply racist and misogynistic country, no matter what is claimed to the contrary. Most of the press and media simply reflect that and print what most of the people want to read. I suspect she also expected to be the fairytale princess but to live her life on her own terms while being adored. So yes, she will have suffered, but she's out of it now, so get partying with your buckets of cash girl or, do as you might do, and try and be a force for good rather than settling old scores with a bunch of inbred nutters (you married one, after all).

This was never meant to be an “interview”, it was a cosy chat between friends so that a point of view could be put across unchallenged. Oprah did a superb job for her mate.
