A pundit I don't mind listening to, and who I find insightful during a match, is Martin Keown.

I like Ash, and strangely, Troy Deeney (didn't like him as a player). Danny Murphy's OK. Micah Richards is just a replacement for Ian Wright - bit of a clown. Chappers is loads better as a presenter than Lineker. Shearer is pants. Most of them say things I could have said myself. Much prefer listening/watching The Athletic. If I just want cheering up, any of Mark Goldbridge's rants on YouTube.

Gary Neville, Robbie Savage, Danny Mills, and pretty much everyone who works for Talksport.

Plenty of bad pundits listed here, but Michael Owen tops the list for me. It's because he doesn't seem to give a shit about football and just likes earning easy money. How networks keep employing him when he has absolutely nothing to say is astounding. Has always come across as a weird bloke. At least even most of the shit pundits on this list seem to actually care about the sport, even if they're terrible at analysing it.

It was the same reason I hated Lawrenson. Being paid to watch live football for Radio 5 Live and if the match wasn't a classic, he'd spend the whole game moaning about it. Should have pissed off to the dinner speaking circuit much earlier and let someone who actually enjoys football take over, the gammon twat.

Despite all my moaning, I mostly mute the TV when the pundits are on at halftime and turn off straight after the final whistle. I don't watch MOTD much anymore, but will always fast forward through the 'analysis' if I do watch.
