• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

RIP Mr Thomas (Max’s Dad)

Thanks again all, struggling to come to terms with the loss of both Mam and dad in a yr, its not a unique situation because lots have been much less fortunate than myself and family, but life goes on.

Lost our Dobe Maxy in November around 8yrs ago on Mrs birthday of all days got Married in November 83 broke my leg in a road accident in November 79 and now lost both parents again in a November month, I'm gonna start a petition to take November out of the calendar.

Tough times Max, but remember you aren't on your own.
We are always here.
I know we may not have met but we share a lot of nonsense together on here some serious (drinking and food plus the occasional love of the Swans) some daft (Dar's shirts and music) 😉👍

Life is shit sometimes mush. One thing I’ve learned after god knows how long on this forum in its various guises is how it can help us when we’re going through tough times. It certainly has with me in the past and no doubt will in the future. Some sound people here. Sending big man hugs.
