What an underwhelming window. I just think it’s a given now, that our owners are just happy coasting, with no ambition to speculate.
Been a critic of RM, but wouldn’t be surprised to see him not renew his contract, similar situation to cooper previously. He deserves better, we deserve better than these owners.
Then the cycle is repeated.

Expecting to see a statement of some sort from Winter today. He's had the rug pulled from underneath him.

It’s not rocket science that we need new owners, but I also don’t know what to make of Winter. We seem less able to get stuff done since Birch left - I think we struck lucky there, albeit he did have more money to play with. Winter seems utterly pointless. But then if his hands are tied and he can’t make decisions, he would be.

Feel sorry for Russell Martin and the supporters today. A club led by owners who have fail to learn from previous mistakes and an evident lack of interest in the driving the club forward. Winter is their mouthpiece aligned with them. I’ve never been a fan of him I find him spiky in forums and he isn’t going to stand up to those above him another happy to coast along.

There will be a statement today from Julian Winter blaming other clubs for the failure to sign anyone but as fans we have been through enough of these windows to know where the real blame lies. The next item on the club website will likely be a push on season ticket renewals…….
