Give the bloke a chance ffs, you can clearly see he’s implementing it we have a good squad one certainly more capable than scrapping relegation, over reacting is laughable, when you think it took Klopp 3/4 years to do anything for Liverpool.
If by January we’re in a similar situation then yeah questions may be asked, be he needs 2/3 windows to get his own squad he wants and right now we still have weaknesses in the squad that will let the playing style down.
He hasn’t exactly been dealt the best of hands to start with has he, the board’s incompetence to get Cooper out sooner has hindered our start with a new manager, players not fit, players injured and Covid thrown in he’s been unlucky with the start he’s had, give it time, plus he’s always been upfront and said it will be short term pain while he gets his system in place.
Great Post except I have not asked him to leave, I was reacting to a first half that was beyond terrible and if we hadn't drawn today then I'm sure a few more fans would be over reacting. Changing a manager every 2 months will get a team relagated, asking a manager on a forum to get a grip is merely an emotional rant, I guess you don't do them huh.

My bad I had it in my head from other people on social media and the other forum kicking off saying he should leave.

No mate I don't want him to leave, I do think he is and can be a good manager for us, just frustrated by todays first half..... onto the next game
Nocountryforoldjack said:I guess I'm just still trying to come to terms with that first half.. Obvs Martin got it totally wrong and changed it for a very good 2nd half fight back but come on, find your best 11 and stick with that.
monmouth said:I said this about Cooper and I will say it about Martin. He needs to learn and show that he is learning. Cooper never did either.
Ask any whang that wants Martin out who they would have instead and where they would get the 3 years of compo from. I swear that some pricks, no names but cue a minute of ‘highlights’, still don’t realise that it was never a choice between Cooper and Martin when they pine for mummy and continually compare with new step mum.
Jinxy said:I have a feeling RM doesn't have a "best 11" strategy. It's more likely about establishing an ethos throughout the squad and club imo. He needs to test different players in different positions, get them fitter etc. and restore our passing and attacking style. This will take time folks. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - we need to be patient. I think we're onto something special here, and I'd rather watch us play this style (once refined) than shite that gets us flirting with promotion with no end point, other than being cannon fodder.

I don't think we were building towards anything under Cooper, does anyone really think we'd have been pushing for promotion again if he was still here? I can't see it, having lost so many of our best players from last year, especially Cooper's frequent get out of jail free card in Ayew. It never seemed like we had a style of play that Cooper was building towards, other than keep it tight and try to nick a goal.
Be interesting to see who gets picked on Wednesday and if anyone who comes in and impresses is also picked on Saturday.

It seems the answer might be more straightforward
Martin added: “We had our best players on the pitch, and that’s something we’ve not been able to do because of covid, pre-season injuries and fitness.
“Olivier couldn’t do three games from the start because he’s not done a pre-season, Ben Cabango was completely wiped out from Wednesday and his covid bout, Flynn Downes the same – that’s why he came off – and Joel Piroe is getting up to speed in the Championship, so that’s why we’ve had to make these changes.
“That’s why I am consistent in what I say in the media. I believe in the players so much that when we keep these guys on the pitch then we will be more than competitive, and I’m so grateful.“
