• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

I have said it before but I was having a drink with Robbie in Newton on the Sunday before that Llanelli game and he said he was giving up at the end of the season. Such a terrible shame for a really nice guy. Today's players aren't fit to lace his boots

Absolutely wonderful player, saw him play first for the Swansea schoolboys, you could tell at that early stage he was going to be special.

I remember one game in the 80's away at Gillingham, Robbie chased a long ball almost the length of the field towards us. Have to say he was never built for that but his passing game was top notch and often fowards.

1. Robbie signing for the Swans in 1973 ...

2. Robbie in the US of A ...

Home Grown talent Robbie , Speedy , Charlo , Dean Saunders all Swansea lads , Leighton James from Gorseinon .

Will claim Curt as Swansea , although from Rhondda , Wyndham from Turkland and Dai Davies from Ammanford .

Pride in the shirt and roots were a big part of our rise through the Divisions , could do with a bit ot that now .

Someone should show this current mop of shite footage of Robbie so they can really see what it means to play for the shirt.
