• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Brewed in Dublin by the owners of Guinness.

I've only seen it in Tesco.
4% vol, so ideal for a Sunday slurp.

£10.56 for 12 x440ml cans.

Light, crisp and pleasant. Ideal with breaded chicken or a nice spicy pizza.

This lager I was lucky enough to sample whilst in Donegal a few years back, was released in certain pubs on trial and Sean Ogs Ballyshannon were running 4 lagers with this being one... The barman let me sample all 4 as I was over from Wales(my wife hails from Donegal)

Not a bad larger at all.

Only 4%, Dicky? Does that not detract from the quality of the drink?

No, try it. I was pleasantly surprised.

I bloody well will! Ever since you put forward that Wiper & True suggestion I have followed each and every recommendation.

Tell the Irish to man up and stop drinking continental lager and drink some beer, they stole what they call Guinness off us as it is.

So will I.

I just have found it pleasant and easy to drink. No tang or aftertaste like some lager like San Miguel.

As well as in Tesco it's on sale in Asda and Sainsbury's. I'll certainly give it a try if I see it.

I've bought it a few times and liked it. Same price as 1664 though, and 50p more gives you 3 super duper bottled Staros.

I had my four pack this afternoon whilst BBQ’ing, it’s ok and very drinkable but hasn’t got the fullness of flavour that I like with a beer. I’m back to Staropramen this evening then later it’s a Yellow Tail rosé as advertised by ECB.

Let's be honest, Lager in cans/bottles tastes like cat p*ss, it only tastes half decent when it's cold and pulled from a proper pub.

Drakeford will do the opposite of what the Tories will do, because his party are a bunch of point scoring idiots to appease the clinically dumb supporters they have.. Wales will be locked up even when the science says otherwise

Open up the pubs

I don’t put cans and bottles in the same league, give me a bottle any day of the week. Pulled beer is only as good as the landlord and his pipe work.
