I reckon having the piss ripped out of you all your life for having a stupid name would drive anyone round the bend.

Got a sister Wonder Woman Price and his dad’s called Cutt.

Got a brother with a different mother. Don’t know what his name is.

At Preston Crown Court the judge, Mrs Justice Yip, jailed Price for life, with a minimum tariff of 16 years

A minimum tariff of 16 years is not a life sentence.

Not that there should be any real prospect of a psycho like this getting out any time soon. Good chance he'll end up in one of the secure hospitals eventually.

An afternoon at the vets and a jab would be cheaper.

Depends if he's mad or just bad. A sixteen year old killing a random passer by would suggest the former in which case I'd have issues with euthanasia. If he's just a piece of shit then by all means, do away with him.

Just some info on the real Rocky Marciano.
He was a GI billeted on Mumbles Pier and was a truck driver here for D-Day.
He had a brawl with an Australian soldier in Wind Street which put him on the path to boxing. (apparently).
Massive Swans fan obviously. 😁

I've heard this as well, the based in Swansea bit, very early end to his life though, died aged 45.

The one punch fight is said to have happened in The Adelphi in Wind Street ... At one time, the upstairs bar was named after him.

In his own words ... "He insulted us at every opportunity,’ Marciano recalled. ‘Finally he called me that name no red-blooded man can ignore. I objected and asked him to apologise. He roared another worse insult, got off the bench and rushed at us… I had to get him in a hurry or take a beating. I threw a wild haymaker which, lucky for me, landed on his jaw. He went down like a log and stayed on the floor, blood pouring from his mouth."

"And it all started for me down there in Wales,’ he said. ‘Wales has always had that great prize-fighting tradition and from that I took my inspiration. I used to get the Mumbles Train into Swansea and get off at Rutland Street in the centre of the town and make for a gym that a Welsh heavyweight called Jim Wilde used to run just by Swansea railway station. No – not Jimmy Wilde. That was a much lighter guy from an earlier time, I used to call in at Swansea market and eat some of that hot laver bread that Welsh people cook out of seaweed, would anybody believe it. We don’t have anything like that in the States."

Former Welsh rugby captain Dr Jack Matthews fought Marciano at RAF St Athan air base in the Vale of Glamorgan in 1943. The 4 round contest was declared a draw.

Rocky died in 1969 aged just 45 in a plane crash, after he cashed in his return plane ticket and accepted a lift in a small private plane.
