I have to admit that the behaviour as always been mixed.
Remember the old ground? The east terrace was flowing with not just Welsh song but urine as far back as the late 80's which is when I saw Wales for the first time.
The vandalism on the trains on way up was frequent.
The nicking that went on on fast food joints near the ground.
More worryingly in the last 15 to 20 years is the pests who prey on the inebriated young women.

I haven't been to the Millennium stadium for 7 years now as I got fed up with the people who lose the thread of the game because they are up and down, up and down to the bars or toilets because they've had too much before the game.

It's no fun being offered to fight either by some of the intoxicated lunatics when you look at them when they spill their beer.

The stewarding at the swans gets a bit of a pasting at times but in my book they are far superior than what I have experienced at the home of Welsh rugby

Good post.

Well said dicky, but what boils my piss bout our stewards is having to show my season ticket whilst on way to my seat ( bottom of stairs ) .The times I've had to say to em " why have I got to show this again....how the fck du think I got in the ground ".
Its fckn annoying/pointless and serves only to wind people up.

Make no bones about it if this had been a football crowd there would have been a complete ban on the sale of alcohol inside the stadium immediately. Absolutely double standards between football and rugby fans and to be honest it's been going on for a while.

I think it's a matter of time until alcohol is banned from pitch-side at International rugby matches, just as it is in football. They've already started with an 'alcohol-free zone'. It would be met with much anger I'm sure. Shame really, as I like a pint with the game, just as I would in football if it was allowed...unfortunately some people can't behave.

It's just so engrained in rugby culture (rightly or wrongly).

Also, just to add a bit of balance, I saw no problems at all up there on Saturday (apart from the pitch invader). Saying that, we did leave a little early to miss the huge queues at the train station as it was p*ssing down. First time I've ever done that.
