Sagoe Jr

4-5-1 is exactly the formation I have been advocating. Tymon and Key supporting Ronald and Sagoe Jr / Parker would be far better balanced than our current attempting to shoehorn a formation that we don't have the personnel for.
Yes although I do have my reservations as to whether Tymon is defensively good enough (and Key to a lesser extent) to play in a back 4 especially with 2 inexperienced wingers in front of them.

433
play one pacy winger at a time in the front 3

Back 4

traditional CB and ball more of a ball playing CB

Two defensive full backs, one who stays in his own half behind pacy winger and can hit a ball over the top

Three mobile players like Cullen, Paterson' new winger up front' in absence of Lowe

Grimes Patino Fulton in midfield

Not sure why we would loan in an untested youngster for a few months in a dead season when we could give Liam Smith and (when he's fit) Sam Parker some learning experiences instead. I'm sure the big clubs will appreciate the work we do for them, whatever that's worth.

Does sometimes feel like we're run by kids who only want the toys other clubs have, and lose all interest once they're ours.

I think Liam Smith can count himself unlucky here for sure.

Hopefully this Sagore is in the loan success category but it just yells panic loan.......especially given he is loan 6 when we are only allowed 5 in a match day squad.

Speaks well and is level headed... could be a useful addition

My daughters boyfriend is from London and follows a lot of the Arsenal U21 games. This is his take on Sagoe Jr. IMG_3527.jpegIMG_3528.jpeg

I find myself in total agreement.
Players brought in on loan have zero resale value (the point of a hedge fund)

Parker has shown huge potential and while unfortunate to pick up an injury has gone from one winger amongst one to now being one amongst four in a single transfer window. We could easily have only brought in one less winger and promoted from the youth ranks for those players to earn first team experience.

When players like Parker and Congreve who have been on the fringes of the first team now find their progression path into the first team blocked by a huge and sudden influx of outside players it does not give much motivation for the youth system that they can break into the side at all.
