• We have today (22nd April) confirmed the closure of JackArmy.net on 31st May. Our reasons are varied but after a twenty-five year stint at the heart of the online Swansea City community, the time is right for us to bow out.

***SATURDAY*** Swans Superstore Super Sale!!! Be There or Be Square!

Thank the lord, I didn't bother.
Wonder how many people were put off spending money by the ridiculous queues that were there. Club really need to sort it out, it's so bloody amateurish. For goodness sake, we are in the 2nd tier of English football, not some Isthmian league.

Someone (inside or outside of the club) will come up with the excuse that all stock will end up selling out anyway, but it’s not good enough and very short sighted.

You’ve got to make it a positive experience, especially for kids, to make them want to go back - exactly the same with the matchday experience. Whether people like it or not it’s an entertainment industry these days and competing with numerous other activities - sporting and otherwise.

Yeah club sort it out, how dare you let people queue up to buy your goods.

You should have just let everyone in at the same time. Oh no, they’d have complained about that then.

I got to the ground at 11.20 at the queue was right to the end of the west stand and not much better after the game.

Aye, I'm struggling to see what the club could have done to improve things given the demand. I'd be genuinely interested to hear people's suggestions.

On most home games the club shop is normally open door. I don't know the reason behind it today but the numbers in the shop compared to previous home games was about 20/30%.
They could have at least doubled up with numbers in at one time....I would say even trippled them today.

Do it tomorrow or the last 3pm
Kick off. 12.30 means that if you wanted to see the game you had to be there early. Tomorrow realistically was the best day to do it

I got in with my boy at the end of the game, just before they started stopping people at the door. It was pandemonium in there and they had to start capping the numbers allowed in so the people in there could get to items and then queue to buy them. Could they have let more people in at a time? Yes they probably could have let some more in, but I don't think that would have made a huge difference to the queue outside.

I see your point, but there's going to be nowhere as many people down there on a non-game day so would be a bad business decision for the club. The last 3pm kick off is a fair shout I think and something they could consider next season.

The discounts weren't even that good and people were queuing up to get in an hour before it opened this morning. It looked like that queue continued throughout the majority of the day other than during the game. I'd think the club would be happy with that, although I felt for the staff in there dealing with those crowds all day! I was impressed that the majority seemed to be in good spirits even after the game.
