• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

So fvcking predictable. We’ve not been great but if the ref (or lino) do their job and give the Laird pen 2nd half it’s game over. Fvcking tamping.

Exactly. Easy to criticise the defending for the equaliser but we should have been 2-0 up by then if the referee wasn't completely incompetent. The one in the first half was a bit softer so can forgive that a little bit but the one in the second half was blatant.

Laird’s in the 1st half would sometimes be given sometimes not. I thought the one on Piroe was blatant - he was pulled back when goalside.

That’s the worst ref I’ve seen since Marley. Not just for the pens either. He was getting decisions wrong for both sides all game.

How many stonewall pens have we not been awarded now this season? I can think of at least 3. Thankfully the C*rdiff one didn’t cost us, other than denying an even sounder pasting of the twats. The other two have cost us points. I’m fecking sick of it.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think we have not been awarded a single penalty so far this season?

They say that it all evens itself up over the season.

If that's the case then we are due around 3 or 4.

We must have used all our penalty luck up in the middle of last season with Naughton's dive against Stoke.

Why do the EFL keep on giving this prìck games down here! Has to be the worst official in the professional game.

Didn't have a good view of the Piroe one 1st half, same with Laird which looked nailed on.

Second half Laird did a sort of pirouette in the air which definitely didn't help his case. Patersons was a definite dive.

Can't really complain we didn't kill the game,They did well in limiting our wing backs .Ref was on another planet though.

Dad and I were directly in line with it, definitely penalty.

I've since seen clips of them. Lairds first, you see them given without too much complaint, but not overly conclusive. Lairds second was absolutely nailed on. And I can see how his fall would take the form it did with how the defender caught his ankle. Could have been a red card too.

Stroud is a terrible referee. Arrogant and incompetent in equal measure. He gave us a penalty that wasn’t against Brizzle last year, and it’s starting to look like he’s never giving us another one.

His refereeing yesterday was truly shocking, at one point around the 55th minute or so I thought he was about to lose control of the whole game he had managed to rile up players on both sides let alone the supporters.

Non league referee at best
