We are in big trouble as a club.

We certainly are.

We have owners who have no interest other than trying to recoup the money they unwisely sunk into the club. They intend to do that by selling any asset, i.e. player they can.

We have a manager who has clearly lost the plot, if he ever had it, but who the owners will not sack until the summer at the earliest, because they won't stump up the compo.

We have a squad of five or six Championship level players, and the rest who are League One, League Two, and in the case of a few, non league standard. The best of them will be sold off and we will not recruit others of the same standard.

We are heading one way, down the leagues, and I don't know what we as fans can do about it. Boycott matches and protest outside maybe, but that's easy for me to say as I don't attend many anyway because I live in Spain. Plus, you will always get a hardcore which won't take any action and who will turn up regardless of the club dying on its feet.

All ideas welcome!

Not being flippant, but wouldn't it be positive if we had a Trust that reflected the views of the fans, and fed it back to the boardroom.

Alarm bells should be ringing, ringing and ringing.

It would be a positive but it's not because we don't. We all know how the trust has gone. The trust now is anything but trust to the fans it's the opposite. Do you trust the trust?

If that was the aim then converting the loans to equity this season was a massive gaffe. They had opportunities in the PL to pay themselves back some of their investment (after the Gylfi & Llorente sales window) via dividends, and keeping recent debts on the books would have given them a simple way to pay themselves directly without having to spread any future profits (lol) between shareholders while also receiving interest. Despite all the insistence from certain fans the payouts/asset-stripping have never happened, revenue from sales has stayed in the club and they've ended up putting more money in since the parachutes ended.

There's good reasons to be dissatisfied, there's no need to resort to fictional motives that don't line up with reality.

Good post.
Yes the owners don’t have the money ,some ,clowns like me ,thought they would have access to but our problem here is the coach.
He mismanages ,mishandles and insults players like no manager we have ever had. Young players consistently exposed by his arrogance and experienced old sweats simply dumped. We play every game the same manner. We make the same mistakes . Martin trots out the same disingenuous shite every game .

It is down to those who go to make life on the pitch that unbearable that he has no option but to walk away. We have the passion ,deep down,to do this but hi# insidious sinister PR machine and fanboys rip anyone not following the process, which is the most insulting specious shite I have ever heard .

We are being shamed and embarrassed every game and it’s not right .
