Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Bristol City vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

Daps mun, sorry to disappoint but you’re wrong yet again - I wrote ‘home’ town club cos I meant ‘home’ town club. I may choose to write ‘born’ town club when he next plays his ‘born’ town club.

Back on topic, if Pato chooses to play in this big game for him, he’ll play. Has fire in the belly for this fixture.
Another fine example of turning a corner - and shows how proper man-management gets the very best out of a top player with proper elite level heritage, pedigree and class.
.
Born town club! You certainly have a way with words.

Hopefully we turn the corner as we did in the last 10 games of last season.

Considering we're playing Sunday and Allen only played 30 mins at Watford why does he need resting?

.
This will be tough.

Manning is the man we shoulda turned to post Martin - the way in which he fixed Martin’s MK mess was transformational. And that’s the tonic we desperately needed instead of Duff (as shown when Manning’s Oxford destroyed Duff).

2-1 Swans. Pato will be fired up - he has something to prove to his home town club.
.
Is that the same Manning who was sacked by MK Dons 16 months into his contract?? - who only accumulated 15 points from 20 matches in his 2nd season!!

in fairness to Luke he has only had 11 games whilst last season it took rhe manager 36 games to work things out eventually realising he had the squad he needed along to get that finish despite no players added in January

And he deserves credit for the top 10 finish.

none deserved given he got that with the same squad he had all season bit that run came after he ditched his tactics ...had he done so earlier in the season we may have been in the play offs.

Pato starts, surprising as he looked very much not fully fit last game.
Maybe he had time to recover.

Well that's your choice, others gave him credit and ultimately got the credit from Southampton who ultimately offered him a job.
Your points are certainly all arguable as much as if he had a bit of backing then we might have snuck into the play offs.

I get what you are suggesting but am certainly not wet enough behind the ears to take another's suggestions as fact.

Surprised by the low turnout by the home fans. Mother’s Day the reason?
