Clearly a side short of confidence, we had to work hard to beat 10 men today but we got there in the end.
Still convinced that the raw ingredients are there for a good manager to work with who plays the way we want them to

Thank Holy fck for that.
Fine bottle of red will taste OK now.

Yes - with the players we’ve got we shouldn’t be struggling against a 10 man Rotherham side.

Don’t know what to make of that.

In one way it was heavy work against ten men. On the other hand it was a caretaker manager who had almost no time to alter any shape or mentality, therefore we served up much the same as recent weeks.

Several things are certain though, we will be a better team with Patino in it, and Cabango out of it.

The optimist in me says “me too”.

Absolutely. We need them

That's all that matters now isn't it. Staying up has to be the aim and then hopefully we can regroup and try to start to build something. Rather than demolish something, which seemed to be this season's aim.

Still so frustrating to watch a lot of times. Players in clear space and the ball is played back or player turns the other way or takes more touches, loses control or flicks it trying to show off, ball is lost, oppo pass direct and we're in trouble. Just play it forward to the player in space.

I don’t like to see Grimes and Fulton on the same team sheet, but I don’t think we were half as bad as some posters seem to think. Bit more accuracy and we could have come away with a hatful of goals. We have a fairly decent squad and the club seems clear about the gaps we need to to fill in the next transfer window. Just a shame we have had so many injuries to deal with.

First half - lot better. Probably one of our better performances all season with the ball. Could have been a couple of goals up at least.

Second half - lost our way a bit, got nervy, but thankfully got the job done.

It was important to win today to maintain the gap to the bottom 3. We did. Happy with that.

We need quite a few better players imo. The signings this season have been poor. Some of the older ones left aren't the best either.

Fair play Sheehan, a proper appreciation from the travelling faithful, the players and fellow coaches.

Smiles aplenty.

Along with Marge coaching our defence, Sheehan himself coaching up top and the middle (with Allen and captain Grimes) this is such the boost after 2 seasons of sideways-ball mess.

So we scrambled a win with a dubious first goal against 10 men of the worst team in the division but got the 3 points. Job done. Looking on the bright side at least we're not Man Utd fans.
