Red card was totally brainless and completely avoidable - carried a ball onto the pitch to delay a throw in in a completely harmless area of the pitch and then minutes later chopped down Patino who was trying to make a counter

Credit where it’s due for the ref with all the criticism they get. Haven’t seen many of them booking for the carrying of balls to stop play so fair play.

Frequency of those being punished has dropped off a cliff since the start of the season and it happens every game.
