• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

That's a confusing line-up. If you're going to bring in some players who have hardly featured recently, why would you pick players who are not going to be here next season?

What possible benefit for the future is there in playing Humphreys and Patino ahead of Lissah and Abdulai for example?

Their keepers kit clashes with their kit doesn’t it? On SwansTV anyway. Maybe better in the flesh

Quite. What message does this give to the young players at the club?

Anyway, at least it seems pretty clear now that Wood has played his last game for the club; a silver lining for some.

Loan players in the last game? Seriously? And loan players that can't normally get a game?

Nonsense.

This is our season in a nutshell isn't it? No idea what to do if we are just given the ball against a compact block and told 'go on then'. Not a single attempt on goal and they break and come closest. This type of sterile play has no future for us.

I still fancy us to nick it, Rotherham stylee with some freak goal, but wouldn't be surprised if they win it from a break or set piece.
