• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

It appears some are happy to promote Wrexham with a six point gap (but Wycombe have a game in hand) and not deem us safe even though we have a lot of traffic and seven point gap to 21st/22nd Smurph
Wycombe are running out of form and steam.

Yep, well summed up.

I think we've been safe for quite a while and so do the bookies, which seldom get things wrong.

Bookies seem to think we are.

Paddy Power are offering 300/1 on us going down.

What the bookies odds are stating and I agree with, we're unlikely to go down. That doesn't mean we're 100% safe, so we shouldn't be experimenting with formations and players, if we lose the next few games we're right back in it.

Its looking likely that Wrexham will go up, its theirs to lose, but yes they could chuck it all away.

I watched some of Wrexham's game at Cambridge United the other night. I think they will have a lot of business to do in the transfer market in the summer if they get promoted to the Championship.

Fully 50% of their turnover is sponsorships and advertising. It can’t last.

Hardest thing for them will be maintaining the drama. Every year so far there has been something to play for. A couple of dull, mid table Championship finishes won't do them any good. They might even be better off in a relegation battle.

I think Ryan Hardie could be a good target for us when Plymouth go down.. always looks a threat and goal scorer

My ideal scenario would be Cardiff going down and Wrexham losing in the play offs. They would be a pull for players and their momentum would guarantee them a good season in this god awful and average league next season. Let’s hope the carnival hits the buffers in May

It will until the Documentary ends. These sponsors are there for that, they know millions watch that and that's their audience. Like the Dr said, keeping the appeal is the hard work, even with the drama, for most watching the, new seasons will be repetitive, the only difference will be the teams they play against. Most of the overseas audience wont care if they're now playing Sheffield Wednesday instead of Burton Albion. Reynolds and his mate cant keep up the "we dont have a clue what we're doing" act for laughs for much longer either.

Anyway onto the Argyle game.
2-0 early goal, take control and then a late goal.

We are not or never really were in danger of getting relegated.

With 18 points left to play for we are not mathematicly safe. However for us to drop now it would need at least 6 teams going on a top 2 promotion form for 6 games which also doesn't include the 6 pointer games which there are a lot still to play.
