Just look at tonights performance compared with Saturday.

The difference is the line up and taking the game to Plymouth.

If we can't attract a manger better than Sheehan, the club truly is doomed.
Plymouth are bottom of the league.

Derby is/was fighting relegation right near us and they were/are a very inform side having won the 4 before us and drew Burnley after us. Also, with the 3 points from Derby we're in a better position, so we are more free to field a more attacking side.

I am well and truly with you that the football was horrid on Saturday, but I'd rather win/draw ugly and be safe rather than lose and still be in a fight.

Assuming we win this one, Sheehan has gotten 14 from a possible 24. That's on top of what he did last time. Sure, I doubt many want him to be answer, but recently the managerial recruitment hasn't been great. Also, the job here isn't exactly the most desirable of situations.

Again, I am with you that I hope we can do far, far better than Sheehan, but I'd certainly take him over a few options.

I wonder how those plums down the mumbles earlier are feeling now

A win is a win there is no questioning that.

If the manager had played this team on Saturday, the win would have come a lot easier.

Sheehan has done well, I question his ability to take us forward over a 46 game season.
