• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

This is genuinely up there with that WBA first half under Laudrup
It’s not quite on that level
Plymouth have very much contributed to us looking good. West Brom in that game couldn’t lay a glove on us in that first half

Well that was an outstanding first half.
The best 45 minutes we have played all season for sure
Helped by some very suspect marking from Plymouth but all three goals were well worked and well taken

O'Brien was a beast, he covered just about every blade of grass twice over. His pressing was relentless
Eom, Ronald, Tymon, Key all of them have been an absolute menace on the flanks
Vip didn't need to aim for the top corner for his chance, should have scored
Franco's volley was also phenomenal and a few yards either side of the keeper and that might have been our goal of the season (even considering Key's effort)
Vigouroux made one excellent save from that free kick

For the first goal I think the only touches that Plymouth had for those four minutes were a few defensive blocks for cross and a ball up to Obafemi which he won a free kick for. They then mysteriously passed it straight to us

Another half like that please. Can't remember a half I enjoyed that much in a while. Just VP to score now.

Eom put on some beef and has been fantastic in the last month or so, more to come next season hopefully and looks a real signing now

Same as vipi. Never thought I'd be saying that three months ago
