• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

What HAS happened to our defence? It was so solid.

For me a few things.. our passing and possession has really dropped off accuracy wise, we are being pressed by 2 forwards more now and getting caught. Also the positioning of a fullbacks and losing possession especially Key is costing us. Vig distribution has been more wayward and and the need for a leader as all but vanished. Since the Hull away game we have lost all intensity in our game and a noticeable confidence drop.

We need leaders with characters now, also a midfield which can compete physically and offer some creativity. Eom and Ronald need to offer more quality from wide areas and play to the strengths of Vip.

Our coaching and set up is just not working, yes our squad is lean but there is a decent 11 that can perform better than what they are doing at the moment.

Be interesting to see the impact of LOB to see if our shape and passion reveals itself

It wasn’t solid. WBA should have scored six in the second game, it was just lucky. Its luck ran out.

The flanks are wide open to pace under Willyball, as they were under his mentor. Willy has added a largely unoccupied midfield to the mix with his clowning for the opposition to run through at will ( y)

Just reading your post leads me to the inescapable conclusion that we are right royally f****d

Breakfast stop in Warminster. I'd take a point if offered now. A big defeat and not turning up will surely force Coleman's hand.

It's as i see it. There maybe other factors going on but let's see if the pattern continues today.

Oh I’m not disagreeing with the analysis, just that we have no tools to fix it, unless LoB is beckenbaur, Overath and Muller rolled into one.

Unfortunately, thinking about it, we do have one massive tool.

It's an attacking team.

We all know what's coming........Bristol City 2-0 😬
