Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Cardiff City 3 Swansea City 0 | The EFL Championship

as with pretty much every game with them over the last 5 years, if we turn up properly then we'll win comfortably
We've shown we can go toe to toe with anyone in the league, when our attitude and belief is there. That's our problem though, some of the players start to lack in their own ability and we concede stupid goals or fall to pieces.

Somebody needs to settle their 17 yr old whizzkid down., early doors. That ham actor Ng is still there while Hollywood burns. Some body will get sent off through him. Rambo is on a win bonus.

Saw a tweet saying the scum only have a few hundred tickets left on sale. They had just under 17k there for their last home game (officially).

So despite us apparently being tinpot, irrelevant, inferior, tiny, and definitely not their rivals.....

They could well have DOUBLE the attendance for our visit than their last game! 🤣

Which is even more reason to put these cvnts to sleep.

LW will do a presser today I'd imagine - we'll most likely get an update, without giving anything away. He'll only confirm if they're in contention, he won't say they're definitely out - don't want to give them any sort of boost before the game

It's exactly the same situation when they come here to be fair

Well not quite because our attendances do not double when they come to us, although they do increase.

But that's the point, we don't pretend we don't hate them and that this isn't a big game (well some try to but they're deluding themselves, I get why - it's a coping mechanism).

For me, this is our biggest game of the season and at least we're generally grown up enough to admit it.

Do they pretend they don't hate us though? All I seem to read on here and on the Facebook group is how they're "obsessed" with us, we can't have it both ways :ROFLMAO:

Yes, haven't you seen them trying to claim that Bristol City are their real rivals!?

Historically we're definitely their biggest rivals but maybe they have a similar level of rivalry with Bristol City now?

Distance-wise, there's only 2 miles in it for them (45 miles from Bristol and 43 miles from us). If we had another club a similar distance to the west, say if Carmarthen were in the same division as us, I'm sure we'd develop a decent rivalry with them as well.

Look at rivalries in the midlands (Villa, Birmingham, Wolves and West Brom), London (Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Fulham) or the North West (United, City, Liverpool, Everton) etc, where there are a number of clubs within close proximity of each other. The difference is we're very isolated from all the other EFL clubs geographically so we only have a genuine rivalry with one club
