• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I remember going there for a midweek game when we both top of L2 battling it out. Remember walking into the silver cod pub which was the railway inn equivalent.

Lost 1-0 Hull youth in our end and our RB sent off followed by a dodgy walk over a park after the game got home at 4am.

Hadn't realised how crap Hull have been recently until I read an article just now on Hull Live, we can't fuk this one up surely 🤷‍♂️

When LW talks about not losing to a team below us and Hull not winning in 13...

So, just to recap, Hull have failed to win any of their past 13 league matches, with nine defeats in that run. ... Hull have not won at home since beating Cardiff at the end of September.

And someone said on their forum, but I haven't checked, that they've only won 3 games at home in the whole of 2024, including the end of last season?

This is an easy, routine 0-2 win. And I salute the 300 Jacks who will be there. But if you're coming from Swansea, you're insane (in a nice way).

Hull haven't been crap recently. They've been crap for a long time.

Saw us win 2-0 at Boothferry in 1994 (I think it was). Can't remember much to be honest. Think Penney and Cornforth played. Penney and a scrappy goal by some fucker I forget I think. I expect a similar result but also expect to be disappointed.

After last week's fiasco, I've made my peace that we don't have balls to get top 6.
But....why am I looking at the next 4 and they are all very winnable?
Which one will we fck up ?
How many out if that 12 points should/will we get?
This bloody league will send me to Betty Ford's.

I predict us going behind early playing slow and sideways and they take thier first chance then us having 80% possession chasing the game.
