• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Grimes is having the football equivalent of a mental break. He is a liabilty right now. I Lolled when he faceplanted after giving the ball away. Someone needs to tell him he isnt a quarterback.
🤣
Says the fella who was nigh on faceplanted onto a road after a puff of wind in upper outer Trallwn heights, en route to Lidl šŸ‘

Who is this chap that asks the questions? It's all a bit naff - and he's given LW the answers as part of the question -but this one takes the biscuit:

How important is it to bounce back?

Bejezus. That's straight out of the Jill Douglas, six nations pre-match interview book of questions. I mean, is it multiple choice? - doesn't matter, not at all, averagely important, really important, extremely important.

Not been a good day ...

A member of the clubs media team isn't going to call the manager or the players out and then post it on the clubs website.

It would be absolutely hilarious though.

ā€œOh Luke, f*ck was that, bro?ā€
ā€œā€¦ā€¦..ā€
ā€œCat got your tongue, white van man?ā€
ā€œā€¦ā€¦ā€¦erm….ā€

Rob Phillips interview on radio wales was much better and was basically ā€œBet you’re not happy, what the fuck was that?ā€

I like Rob Phillips. Think he is a Cardiff fan but as unbiased as they come. And talks sense

Same. I’ve always listened to Radio Wales and he’s a football fanatic (think he’s Newport) first.
Robbo is great when commentating on the Swans but my favourite is Nathan Blake.
Really knows his stuff and a brilliant speaker. Always speaks highly of our club.

I'm still absolutely fuming about that performance, five hours later. I haven't calmed down.
I can accept defeat by a better team if we've given it our all, like the Leeds match, but to lose to a technically inferior team just because they showed more fight and desire than us. Totally unacceptable.

You're right, again.
This is all on the manager - selection, set-up, culture, matey man-management, lack of tactical in-game nous, subs, lack of leadership, no class, no heritage, no pedigree, all shouty gruff uncouth bluster.

The Willy - all fur coat and no knickers, no nothing, no substance whatsoever other than a Martin cast-off, for good reason.

There's simply no case for his defense (along with his previous sacking baggage looming large yet again).

He's got to go now.
And massively telling that nobody has yet to proffer a case in his defense. Nada, nothing. Pretty damning, in so many ways.
