• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Elland Road in those pics looks so similar to Old Trafford & St James Park before they was extended.
That one big stand with the other 3 all the same size.
Never been, bet it's a class atmosphere

Rodon and James get nobbled at the airport by agent Cullen in the Wales squad

I understand the EFL allowed Leeds to count four goals which should have been adjudged offside.

How many of Leed's goals are going to come from our mistakes,? I'd say at least 2.

What’s Elland Road like for visiting fans? Nightmare. Even worse this time on the field I expect.

First went there in 1977, Racist, spiteful ground in those days.

You could actually see a 0-1 if went there organised, fit and fully switched on nullifying any threat from Solomon Piroe and James and the Jap midfield maestro.

So probably extremely unlikely 😬

Any potential new managers are like "any chance I could start AFTER the Leeds game, I er...have..a doctors appointment that day and you know how it is trying to rearrange those, right.? haha..."

That aside. My bold prediction: 2-2 and one of our goals will be a late penalty to equalize.

If we don't have a new manager in place by then, and Sheehan hasn't given it officially (even until end of the season) I can see another abject performance and a 3, 4 or 5 nil score line incoming.
