• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

5 at the back, 3 defensive midfielders and then Ronald playing behind Cullen? 😳😂

Ninety minutes of attack versus defence is about to commence. Zero outlet for us there.

Not a fan of this lineup at all.
It screams to me of a team that is afraid. If you show that to Leeds then they will maul you badly

I have never seen a team that rely so much on momentum as Leeds, if you suppress them they can look very ordinary (see Millwall's win here a few weeks ago). If you let them get their tails up they can look like Real Madrid and be out of sight before half time.

At least Firpo isn't starting for Leeds, one of their top performers this season. Same with Tanaka, although surprising to see Ampadu start. Hopefully he will lack match sharpness.

We may be going with a 3-4-2-1, with Fulton alongside either Cullen or Ronald behind Ronald or Cullen. Ronald up front would be an interesting choice, as he certainly has the pace to cause problems.

With Full-tonne, that would be 3-4-1-1 then.

I suppose we don't have that much choice. Have to try and keep compact and not give them space between the lines and out wide. We're probably going to get humped in any event.

Unless...

Nah, abandon all hope.

To br fair Fulton is probably more effective further forwards. Chances are it will be a 5-3-2 with Fulton in midfield. I don't rate our chances if that's the case.

We don't have any chances 😆. No chink of hope is getting through my defences before 5pm.

Strange one this.
If he was missing from the Wales camp because he was injured then I thought that FIFA rules say that a player is ineligible to play for 5 days after the last international game.

Osasuna are appealing to Spanish FA for exactly this reason

Fulton isn't effective anywhere, he's an absolute carthorse stealing a living.

I'm sure there is a rule we could have evoked to prevent him playing. Administrative oversight from the club?

Its not on us to prevent him from playing, he should straight up be ineligible.
Unless the Welsh FA have given his club written permission to be able to field him they are not allowed to field him until after Sunday.

I instinctively hate changing formation like this when playing a top team, smacks of cowardice a little. But that's probably an overreaction, I just think it's better to try and play to the strengths of your own squad rather than have a 'pweese don't hurt me too much Mr Leeds, Sir, I sowee I looked at you.." approach.

Hopefully we all look like twats in a couple of hours and Sheehan a tactical genuis.

I'm being generous. Let's say he's less ineffective further forwards. He scored in the Plymouth game and had two other good chances to score.
