• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

No one at Everton ever used to complain about Leighton Baines taking penalties.
If Tymon had scored then none of us would have even mentioned it.
I have seen far worse penalties than his that go in
Not sure if I would compare baines to Tymon. I agree about if he had scored, but I would of still appointed out it was an odd choice. It wasn't a great penalty. Cullen would of smashed it.

Why didn't Cullen take

Anything we get today or at Sunderland is a bonus really. Four home games left all against teams below us - if we can't get two wins or at least a win and two draws from those four home games then we deserve to go down.
Reminds me so much of our relegation from the Premier League. Looked safe at one stage, and with 2 home games against struggling sides , Southampton and Stoke, and we all know what happened. Who would you fancy now ? In form Derby or possibly 3 defeats on the trot Swansea

It's basically straight at him with little power
Unless the goalkeeper was standing next to the post it was certainly not "straight at him"
I know some people love some drama and some good old fashioned kneejerking but at least throw your shade in the right direction

Difference between now and then is there are three teams worse than us in this league.

If the keeper hadn't of moved he would have still saved it comfortably.
