Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Luton Town 1 Swansea City 1 | The EFL Championship

I get that Mon but these issues have been with us for years and we've been saying "if only we had luck" or "if only we cut out the mistakes."

Nothing ever changes and we can't keep making excuses. Especially when QPR and Portsmouth are winning. It's a thin line between being unlucky and being dragged into it by losing winnable games.
This is also true, but I think we'll have enough for mid table now. We're not consistent enough at both ends of the pitch to be better than that. We make mistakes because the players we have are prone to it, so as you say, we will always have to overcome that or get more reliable, consistent, players.

We're playing the better football but as usual we have no cutting edge. It's not helping that all our chances are falling to Tymon, who looks totally clueless in their penalty area. And don't get me started on Peart Harris. Surely Govea could offer more? My 91 year old mother would offer more than him, sitting in a wheelchair.
Bango dropped a huge clanger, but Vig compounded it by letting the ball roll under his leg.
We can still get something out of this if we get the ball to Cullen and Vip, and sub PH at the earliest opportunity, preferably at half time.
Darling didn't help the situation - bending over and letting Adyebayo get passed him.

Swans free kick ends up as a shot on target to them. How can anyone find any positives here I don’t know?

We're simply a mid-table Championship team now, nothing more, nothing less. Which, judging by our history, is fine.

We had the opportunity when we got relegated from the PL to push for a promotion (and we very nearly did achieve that), but we didn't. We're back where we belong, arguably above where we belong. It's pointless complaining about 12th-17th place finishes, because that's where we're at for a number of years yet.

It's a combination of awful conditions coupled with a lack of basic ability that's costing us at the moment...
