• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

So long as its not that inept pile of garbage that we had on Saturday
Hopefully I will never see him officiating in a Swans match again
At least not until he learns how to actually referee

What's the weather like at Portsmouth chaps? Any chance the game may get postponed?

It's very windy on the South Coast at the moment.. patchy rain but said to get worse by 1pm

Don't think the game will be off unless Pompey's stands are at risk withe winds

Pitch should be fine.

Short journey for me for once.

Safe journey to those going.
Went there once, tbh it's a proper old school shithouse. But you'll have decent banter !

Also to add... the M27 is full of Hadec speed cameras that trigger on 72mph and there is a 50mph average speed in place from the M3 to Fareham so allow time.

We came down yesterday, had a cracking NY Eve.
Head feels like a Tesco trolley rolling down Constitution Hill. 2-0 Swans

Winds dying down, but rain getting heavier. Can’t see there being any problems with that forecast.

Only been there once for a game when we dumped the then holders out of the FA Cup. That was a very good day out.

I think we'll win today with a little to spare.
We lost at Hull who were bottom cos our attitude was appalling, if it happens again it'll be same result . Let's hope we have respect for those who left at stupid o clock to support em.

Hammering down in Southampton...3 more hours of this weather will be tricky
