• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Despite the uninspiring first team mentioned (especially the defence) the highlight for me is seeing Ginnelly on the bench. Even if he only gets 10 mins at the end it would be a huge milestone for him after nearly 500 days out injured when he ruptured his achilles.

Crikey, has it been that long? Time passes you by.

Swans OS quotes it as 478 days
Honestly I couldn't care less about the result today, if he gets time on the pitch and makes a positive contribution then I would be more than happy with that. He was showing some real quality right before he got injured for us

I have written this game off and was hoping to see a couple of youngsters from the U21s would have been included.

Highlights as stated above is that Ginnelly is on the bench.
Concerned about the centre half situation now and highlights the lack of depth in that department now.

Hoping for some good signs today but can't see anything other than a solid Soton win.

Soton 3-0.

I think McLaughlin will need to play well enough to get back into the Scotland team if we’re to get anything out of this game…

Maybe Christie’s sheer mass will create a gravitational force strong enough that he can just pull attackers into his orbit and then drag them out into safe areas away from our goal?

The fact that Tymon hasn’t been rested shows me Williams has no intention of ever integrating Nathan T into our team.

Mildly interested in seeing MPH at no 10, maybe he can be the ex-Pompey boogeyman that grabs a goal.

Looking at those two teams, it’ll be a miracle if we keep it to last year’s 5-0.

The thought of Dibling on their right with the freedom of StMary’s makes my piles ache.

Manning’s going to be a massive shithouse again too.

I think we might see the gulf between the crappiest PL team in many years, maybe ever, and championship cannon fodder today. You never know with football though right?

🤣 Christie creates his own gravity.
