• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I suspect the back five will be making a re-appearance for this one, as per Leeds. I'd happily take a point now.
I was thinking the same regarding the formation.
Sunderland like to play on the front foot, so the wingback formation might be a decent fit for this.
Saying that though its difficult to break up a side that put in our best performance of the season

Play the same way we did last night and at Leeds and we could be in with a shout. This is almost a free hit after the two wins we've had. They're all but guaranteed the playoffs. Get at them from the start

Not all but, they ARE guaranteed a playoff place at least
they are 16 points ahead of 7th with 5 games to play

Lot depends on how Sunland approach this. Do they think that automatic promo is outa reach? If they do, they'll be saving themselves and we have a great opportunity to get something.
Or....will we now be unpacking the flip flops?

If I was them I wouldn't be giving up the ghost on 2nd place just yet.

Its doable and failing that they will want to ensure that they secure at least 4th place for the home advantage in the playoff first leg. While its almost guaranteed they will want to make sure of it, also you don't want to be going into the playoffs on a stinking run of form so I expect them to be up for this.

Looking at it, 4th pretty much assured, this has the look of a stalemate to me.

Shame the club doesn't reward the away fans who have travelled this season with subsidised coach travel for this one.

From match day program. Snippet.

I learned this week that the service for Sunderland has been cancelled. This is because only four supporters have booked onto it. As we sit here today, I am not sure what the right direction of travel (no pun intended) is moving forward, but it is clear that we cannot continue as we are.
