• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Realistically we all knew we would lose today. We looked jaded against a far better side and the break will allow us to reset. Probably lose at Leeds then our season needs to gather the remaining 4 points needed. It was always going to be 48 points needed so nothing changes on that front.

The squad is bereft of much quality but so is a number of other sides in this league.

Sheehan is talking himself out of anything on the gaffer front with his substitutions. What actually is the issue with Allen??..

We're not safe yet but we have winnable games ahead where with correct application will get us the points needed.

Personally, there are a lot players i would ship out from our squad which has a number of L1 standard players out of their depth.

Coleman hopefully will be on a plane soon back to Trumpton and just maybe we can get some astute leadership on and off the pitch next season.

Burnley are a funny old team!
We handed them 2 goals on the plate, they have quality but they are a well drilled team and good at the dark arts......but boy did they get those little things such as the ball bouncing into their paths and getting lucky deflections.

We weren't awful but we're not at it today and have them a bit too much respect.

They’re abit Steve Cooper.

Need 4 points.
4 of the remaining games against sides below us. Along with the other 4 games, cannot believe some think we won't pick up 4 points.
Plus way too many sides in the mix to go down. Yes, it'll be tight but we be ok.
In summary tho, an absolutely fckn dreadful season.

What are your thoughts on this now, Monny ?

A proper follow up is in order, no ?
Your thoughts 'Monny' ?

Poor form, fella, in so many ways.

Don't think this has simply been brushed under the carpet - along with Mr Swerve and FearOfAJackPlanet - despite the Racism thread being now blocked.

?
Their defense has been rapidly unraveling.
They have conceded 5 goals in their last 4 games - even Cardiff managed to score against them.

If we can regain some semblance of Midfield command and control, instead of scurrying, scampering and scrambling around for bits 'n bobs of possession - we can win this.

2-1, with Midfield command and control, aka the Swanseway
1-3, if we continue to scurry
We scurried, we scampered, we lacked any semblance of Midfield Control

And we got smashed out of the park.

We miss leadership.
We miss Midfield Control.
We miss our unique edge, our Swanseaway.

We were an unrecognizable rabble of misfits, with a £40k a week Skoda Labia at the core.
