• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Looks a defensive minded set up for a home game.

Maybe to take the sting out of a Derby high press and go for it later on?

Does allow Key and Tymon to push on but who puts the ball in from crosses

Again I was proved wrong against Leeds but my word that's Carvalhal esque vs Liverpool

If Fulton can contribute the way he did last week, then I'm ok with it.

We did surprisingly well last week set up like this - it wasn't a defensive rearguard at all, we got forward well and had good moments out wide with Ronald and Tymon as wing backs and O'Brien further forward ahead of Fulton and Franco, so I'm fine with asking the players to run it back again. We have scope to change it if needed and VP will be champing at the bit to come on later.

Unchanged side and formation it seems.
Cullen was ineffective in this formation last week, I would at the very least have rewarded Vipotnik with a start

Just hope I am wrong again. Would of liked Vip and more attacker minded team. Strange one this. The only thing I can think of is we are aware of Derby physical play? And need Fulton and extra back up.

No Vipotnik, Eom or Bianchini, jesus christ, what 3 wonderful forward signings they have been.
Well we wouldn’t really know. None look any worse than Cullen as a forward. I suppose he does get on the end of some things, and chases around, but he’s mostly ineffectual.

They will be sitting deep.. ideally need a presence up top. We will be a threat out wide if we can get behind their wing backs
