• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

When you look at the table it does make you think what might have been if the owners had ditched Williams immediately after his absurd "call my agent" remarks trying to get himself into the West Brom job.

So many games in that period where it was more obvious than ever that not only he had no clue what he was doing but that the players had also given up on him.

Even just two more wins over that barren January and February period and we would be in the chasing pack hoping to squeeze into the playoffs.

While its still theoretically possible the best we could finish on is 66 points if we win every remaining match, and I don't see all but one of Bristol City, Coventry, West Brom, Middlesbrough and Millwall all failing to claim at least 7 points in these final few games to make that a possibility.

It would dwarf even that miracle playoff spot secured under Cooper if it happened.

Fascinating feel to this one now. Boys are on a roll, will they carry on or will the flip flops start to appear? Doesn't matter what happens to Hull v Cov tonight, they'll still need a result v us. Add into the mix there'll be plenty secretly not minding if we lose to aid the demise of the deranged up the road.
Championship is a nightmare to call at best, this one is impossible.

Fans wouldn’t mind too much maybe if we lose.

The players probably don’t care at all what happens to Cardiff

Swansea City Magic prevails as we continue to miss 5+ chances that could make us look even more Prem Ready if half were taken. Signing a striker that capable should be possible given he knows what his teammates are capable of serving up.

There should be absolutely be no reason for any beachy stuff Friday...we have been pretty appalling most of this season and some games we didn't even turn up at all so time for the team to deliver again and win the fans back to the stadium

Far to many home losses we don't need to adding to that number

Cyril the Swan to pull his head off at half-time to reveal Luka Modric underneath. He proceeds to run to the East Stand in full Swans kit, slide to his knees, do the 3 fist pumps and then goes and give an inspiring half-time team talk that leads to a 10-0 win.

It's mid afteroon, mate.
Put the glass down and get something to eat before you pick it up again.

With discounted ticket prices, excellent recent form, today's news...should be decent crowd and a crackling atmosphere.
Who'd have thought the season will end with a smile.
