• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I feel a bit dirty saying this, but I enjoyed that. It was exciting.

We always do this too. Ipswich, Wycombe come to mind. And Reading in the PL. 2-0 down against dog teams before any kind of response.

We did to them what Derby did to us

Suspect performance. Defence has gone to shit with seven conceded in a week.

Dropped the momentum after we scored the equaliser.

And bonkers subs again
Yet we still got a point? It's not the end of the world. How many goals have we scored in that time....

Better 2nd half performance. After the 1st half, happy with a point but could have been more

Defence has never been good. Other teams just missed. It was inevitable at some point they wouldn't.

But we aren't taking about goals scored Dan which is why I said goals conceded.

If we are all happy with a draw at home to bottom of league and a loss against top of the league Leeds then I guess our expectations are relegation

You have to give some credit to the side for coming back from 2 down. But by Chr1st we're a frustrating team to watch at times!

We would have lost that game last season, and we've just had a month of basically scoring no goals so there's still positives. You can't blame Pompey for trying, they're bottom with 2 games in hand. They arent a non league outfit.

Just before I log off, just to mention Cullen had a good game
Would have had a 2nd if not for the keeper worldie save

Have to be relieved with a point after being 0-2 down and playing like that first half.
Can't expect to win a game when you only play for 45 minutes.

Abdulai on for Ronald when you're chasing the game is wild.

Much better 2nd half though, and we had enough chances to win it. But we're a mid-table average team, so mid-table average things happen to us, like today.

On the plus side, Cullen is stepping up beyond what I expected, the goalie made a worldie and Eom, Peart and Bianchini missed sitters. Add in their sitter and I think 4-3 or 5-3 would have been fair. Coventry's last gasp goal was a nice little bonus.

I think every honest Swans fan saw that coming today. It’s part of the Swansea way to struggle against bottom of the league at home 😁 that being said good fight back and should have won in the end.

3 games in a week: 1 win 1 draw, 1 loss. Chef's kiss of where we are right now as a team.

Entertainment value has certainly shot up over these past 7 days. I don't feel like I'm under anesthetic watching us at the moment.

3 games in a week. Lost count of times it's been 4 point return from em.
Should/could have been more. Fair play to Pompey, they had a right go.
Strengthen in January and we may just go close to top 6. If we don't, then points will continue to be chucked away.
