• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Big Vip, well done son.

Decent finish by MPH

A week is hell of a long time in football.

Lovely stuff. It's easy to overreact to a single half of football, but you can't be blamed after watching that to think that WIlliams was killing us.

Oh, and it's laughable how much better at playing no 8 O'Brien is than Statt Grimes. We've wasted years basing our style of play around that guy.

Got to say that this is the most enjoyable half of the Swans I have seen for what feels like years.

We have attacked in numbers and with pace and purpose.
Ronald MPH willing to run at their defenders.

Ronald won the free kick taking his man on that we scored the first from
MPH ran at and took on his man to get the second

O'Brien has been a monster at the base of the midfield, his spread of play and decision making have been spot on.

The only one right now who isn't having the best of games is Cullen, he seems half a second behind the pace and should have scored in the 10th minute after Vipotnik put it on a plate for him

I can't believe it but I am enjoying watching the Swans. This performance so far has proven the point for all of us who said that the squad was far better than how Williams had us playing.

We're doing well, although some of the old faults are still there, like Cullen missing a sitter from six yards out early on. I was about to say PH has contributed nothing all half, then he goes and scores a fantastic goal!
The boys are battling at the back, although opponents getting down the flanks and crossing is still a weakness for us.
Let's hope we're a bit more alive from the re-start and don't gift them an early goal like we usually do.
