• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Just got back from a meeting down the club unrelated 🌈 to season tickets but I asked the question anyway.
We are now on 12,800 and finished last season on about 14,000.

That’s not bad considering how cheap they were last season and when people renewed when SC was here we looked like good value for promotion.

That's good going considering some tickets for last season were bought really cheaply and quite a few transferred over from the 2020/21 season.

I tried putting this over on the other board a few weeks ago but wss shot down. Thanks for the info Dar and certainly rules out that the sales were well down on last year.

Fi gers crossed that we get to the 14k and shows the passion and commitment is still there for the club.

Can’t really fault that level of support. We might moan and groan at the running of the club and the hierarchy, but we’re a loyal bunch.

At £45 a return trip down now, before sustenance, I suspect mine might be sparsely used next season.

They are about 10% down. We had pretty much sold out at this stage last season.

So what were the numbers sold this time last year compared to the 12,800 thus far?

As Dar posted, we finished on 14k last year so we are about 8% down at present compared to last year's final figure.

The questions are, will we match last year and can we beat it? I think if the club boxes clever in the next month then we can certainly atleast match it.
