Some of our lot are thick as fck.

Well yes but even though he was touting himself around a multitude of other clubs nobody has any evidence of that actually happening.

Doesn’t matter, the brains trust on the internet keep repeating it so it must be true 😂

Anyone else hoping Sheffield United win tonight to set up an all Yorkshire final?
Nah I didn’t think so.

Well fans can pine over him all they want but the cold facts are he no longer works for or manages our club... the fact that he's doing well for another club with a completely different set up does not translate to how he would do if he was still here, that's called revisionism according to the brains trust.

Sad thing is ...we wont stop hearing about him on here until we get promoted to the prem. if my aunty had a minge ect.

I’m not pining over him quite simply because it doesn’t affect me or the club I support.
I really couldn’t give a f*ck either way.

That is something that has become accepted as fact by many, but there's no proof as you say.

It's clear he didn't want to be here though. The owners (rightly) want to keep costs as low as possible and so wouldn't want to 'mutually depart' a manager if they didn't need to. Certainly not after he'd led the team to the playoffs twice in a row. If Cooper had been committed to a third season here, he'd not have left, I'm convinced of that.

That would be all well and good if I said any of it. Have another go.

Two play-off finals in consecutive seasons with two different clubs, both with limited resources compared to the bigger clubs in the league.

Yet we wanted the "sexy" option because RuSeLL pLaYs TiKi TaKa FoOTbALL.

We deserve to be crap. Good luck Cooper, loved you when you was our manager and still do. Humble bloke, Welsh, knows when to be pragmatic and far more talented than Russell Hobbs.

Limited resources? We probably cleared £50m in revenue during his first season here.

Revenue doesn’t really matter to a manager if you can’t spend it. He was given £495k to bring in players in that first season.

The rest he had to make do with what he had (which wasn’t a lot due to Ayews ridiculous wage) and what he could bring in for free or next to nothing.
