• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Sheffield United

Could we see Sheffield United relegated? Wonder what the odds on that were at the begging of the season.

Just goes to show how one or two wrong decisions can have such a huge impact.

I can’t see this fella turning it around. The longer he seems to be in place the drop to League One seems inevitable.
I don't think they will be relegated, I think that over the course of the season there will be three teams worse than them. Selles plays a high risk high press style game, but if you can keep them out then they are horrifically open at the back - that was in evidence against Brizzle, against us and again last night.

If Selles cannot get a tune out of their squad another manager will.

They took a calculated risk keeping their squad together after relegation last year, when they failed to go up there was always going to be transition as they had to cut almost all their best players / high earners and start bringing in new blood on lower salaries.

To be fair though, last night they were largely ripped apart by one player who cost Ipswich £20m - thats an insane price to pay for a Championship player but parachute payments do that.

I don’t think they’ll go down either. If they replace the manager sooner rather than later.

Yet again I didn’t think Luton would go down last season.

Sheffield United early on was one of the reasons that people declared in June that we had a tough start to the season.
The Championship is crazy and doesn't work like that. Looks like it's them that's had the tough start.

I said a couple of weeks ago we should have beaten them by more, and a good team firing on all cylinders would have. All things considered we played them at the right time and before the inevitable improvement. Good to see at least one team struggling badly early doors, always helpful.

I watched the first half, didint look like a team to be down 0-3 , but defending was gash.
