• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Inevitable, really. Owners should really be competence tested before they're allowed to buy football clubs. We've certainly had our share of incompetent asshats.

You mean 'be fit and proper' 😆

Nobody cares as long as they pony up initial cash. What is needed is some kind of real personal liability for subsequent events. Not going to happen. To me, football clubs aren't normal companies, they are historic local, and could be argued, sometimes national assets and should be protected from charlatans and sharks under specific law.

Except Cardiff City, which should be put down as an act of kindness.

Am I missing something - there was supposed to be a fan boycott of their last game against Middlesbrough. There was still 21,000 in the ground.
By that logic, half of our fans are boycotting us! :ROFLMAO:

It's terrible, I feel for the fans of this once proud club. The FA and Football League should really step up their efforts when it comes to protecting clubs

Given that one of our only wins was against them , things are getting more uncomfortable for us by the second.

Leeds recovered from administration, and scummy Brum. Wednesday easily have the fan base. It's not liquidation.

Not yet it isn't. They'll get a points deduction because of administration no doubt.

The owners have been playing Russian roulette with the club for a while. It still doesn't take away from the fact the FA and Football league should be doing more to protect clubs.

There wasn’t 21,000 there. There were the Middlesbrough fans and then not many Wednesday fans. I’m assuming the figure you quoted included ST holders who were boycotting but had technically already paid for their seat. These photos were taken by a Middlesbrough fan during the match.

Hmmm…won’t it still spell ‘Chansiri” just not in white. If Baldrick did plans…
Not if they use old blue seats that have been used before, they will be the same faded colour as the rest. They are not going to be putting new seats in their place.
