• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The start.

Mentioned it on a thread a few weeks back. This, in my opinion, is headed up by Cravatt. Lots of emphasis on stats, data etc.

Edit - just to clarify here, not trying to act in the know, it's just where I think the majority of the investment will go, can see the method in the madness aswell.

We've been tracking him for years, would the recent changes in foreign player rules have had an impact on our ability to sign him? Jack Chapman's been the man behind many/most of our academy signings of recent years despite rarely having his name in print.

Yeah noticed that, have we been paying fees before now though? Not that I have seen, fair enough if so, I just think we'll see an increase in it now.

Looks like a canny signing, hopefully he will get an opportunity in first team squad.

No point funding an Academy otherwise.

Here is hoping that he brings glory to the u21s

If they are looking over in Ireland as they suggest then they need to be looking if they haven't at Sam Curtis of St Pats.
They are raving about him over there.
