Silly season is certainly in full swing in SA1 at the moment.   Leaks and speculation is rife over the future of the manager, his staff, the CEO and incomings and outgoing on the player recruitment side.   And all of that is before we think about what players we may sign before the season starts....

unsure what all the fuss is about right now.  it's the holiday season.  Andy Coleman is on hols, Watson is on hols.

despite some way-off rumours, the compo has to be significantly higher than most expectations, and quite rightly so. and there's no rush to pander to Russy's agenda.  meantime, he should do the honourable thing and do a Coops.

new manager odds spot on, tho SS now way ahead of JE.

player recruitment machine still ticking over.

It will always be the same as long as these appalling Yanks own the club. Somebody come in and buy us - PLEASE!

People always say this as if we have exceptionally bad owners. It's come out today that Leeds ownership have put Elland Road up as collateral for buying another club. West Brom's Chief Exec has quit, something he said he'd do if the financials were as dodgy as they looked with owners borrowing money from the till. There's far worse out there.

Fans and journalists are desperate for definitive statements and observable forward progress to either prove themselves right or confirm their worst fears, but things take time if they're to be done properly. There's no benefit to Swansea City having a club rep narrate the process the whole way through.

Absolutely, much better ro wait until a few days before the season starts to appoint a new manager as the Americans did last time 👍

Not exceptionally bad owners!!?? These are the same guys who connived, in full knowledge, with the dirty sellouts, to stab the Swansea City Supporters Trust in the back. That's the old Trust representing the fans, not the current Trust, representing prawn vol-au-vents.

Steven Schumacher has a 58% win rate as a manager, hope he can step up and keep that form.

Unfortunately when you are in high jobs at football clubs and the things happening are the one of the biggest things that can happen to a club (changing a manager) then being on holiday doesn't work - thats not an excuse for them (or certainly not Coleman unfortunately)

I pay little attention to the odds - they are too easily influenced by small things or a small(ish) flurry of bets

Being ‘on holiday’ is precisely what our clever owners want to convey. The tactical play, the ‘out’, always, in negotiation.

I have 100% confidence in their judgement calls right now, largely based on local input.

Oh come on !! Great to have positivity and to give benefit of the doubt but how on earth can anyone have 100% confidence in their judgement based on what we have seen to date 😂
