• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I would 100% endorse this, while we are as guilty as any other team of a tactical foul it is absolutely a blight on the game and something that has long needed looking at. Stopping an almost certain goal scoring opportunity and only getting a yellow card if you broke up for example a developing 4 on 1 situation just because you were not the last man should always warrant a more serious punishment.

Got to agree, all teams do it of course because the punishment is pretty minor for stopping a great chance at a goal.

Something has needed to be done for a long time, let's hope that if it gets the go ahead it's implemented consistently.

Agreed they get a yellow card which in most cases doesn't affect them in the game. The opposition though miss out.

No, no, no. Where is this going to end. As NCFOJ has said above, they are killing the game. Its plain nonsense.

They’ve only got to speak to world rugby to see how well it can work, along with VAR. but no, the football suits think they know it all and would never lower themselves to ask for advice.
