• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I’ll do what I want but thanks for your concern.
Strangely though nobody wants to comment on the video of Khan’s deputy making a cunt of herself.

Oh and you’ve got another bloke in this thread that is incapable of taking a bit of ribbing trying to be clever and if you don’t know who I’m talking about it’s the one that slags off every political party there is but openly admits to not using his vote, makes sense to someone I suppose.
I can taking ribbing off you all day everyday, just because you're having your arse handed to you on a thread and not for the first time don't try and take out on me.

Whether I vote or not has got absolutely fuckall to do with anything anyone or you so don't try changing the subject cause you've made a twat of yourself again. I pay my fucking taxes so I can say what I like.

I pay my fucking taxes too so I can say what I like especially that you’re thick as fuck.

“I hate Starmer.”

“Vote him out Max.”

“Dur I can’t mun I don’t vote like.”

Fuck my eyes. 😂😂😂

You keep playing the same old tune I couldn't give a fuk about you or what you think. I'm happy to live rent free in that gormless head of yours though so crack on.

This is a sad day, the closing down of the front counters, it was my job in Greenwich for 12 years as a civilian Officer. I was also the union rep there and we knew this would happen one day and I left the Met in 2011, I am so surprised that the public in London haven't made a big issue of this as in my opinion the front counters are an integral part of the community, you meet some characters, some bad, nasty people and people who just want a chat.

I'm more disappointed with PCS Union who havent put anything out, a sad day
Totally agree with your comments. My view is that the front counter is essential part of the policing service and people should be able to attend a police station and speak to someone. The closure of the front desk service will save the Met £7m - that’s nothing in the grand scheme of things to maintain an essential service. These closures have been happening in other parts of the countries for a long time and imho they are wrong.

People are pointing the finger at Khan, they need to remember that Boris closed almost half of the front desk services during his tenure, which is still more than Khan has closed during his tenure.

So if Boris closed almost half of them Khan is closing more than half of them then. 🤣

*nearly got mugged.

That’s how thick these racist dullards are.

Barnet is one mile further away from Charing Cross (the marker used for distance to London) than Croydon is. And yet you were happy for that to be used as a proxy for London?

Barnet is closer to Oxford Circus than Croydon is.

Plus Barnet is on the tube and Croydon is not.

Croydon is in Surrey continually seeking city status to break away from being a London boro.

Croydon has been let down by the fiasco that is the 'new' Westfield shopping center build that's been on and off for 2 decades. I know shops were told to close in Croydon in 2006 to make way for it. And it's still not any closer.
