Aye Britain hasn't been blessed with top notch male skiers tbf. Rydings arguably the best of the lot tbf, but he's 39 now, so not sure how long he'll be around, probably retire after the next winter Olympics.I will never forget Konrad Bartelski getting a 2nd place in a downhill race in th early 80s. British Skiers were/are notoriously unsuccesful. You used to see the odd top 10 finish and then here this guy, who has never done anything, almost winning a race. Val Gardena. Martin Bell was the other Brit who was semi good.
I hadnt heard of him. Seems he actually won a race. Yikes.Aye Britain hasn't been blessed with top notch male skiers tbf. Rydings arguably the best of the lot tbf, but he's 39 now, so not sure how long he'll be around, probably retire after the next winter Olympics.
