Er, update.....I took the batteries out and reinserted them...,only the back up button is knackered.

Likely it's dirt/grime under the number pad - take it apart and wash the rubber number pad mat in very warm soapy water; use lightly damp kitchen paper to clear grease from the circuit board (the part where the pads made contact), and it should work fine.

I moved over to Sky Q - I have a spare Sky+ HD remote; yours if you want it. PM me your phone number to arrange. What we could do, swap remotes, and I'll do the repair job on the dodge one, and you can use that one as the spare when you get it back.
