• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

The other side of that is the bad news. We’re now only 2 points above the bottom 3 and Sheffield United are closing in fast.

Oxford playing Friday night and Portsmouth/Sheff Utd playing Saturday lunchtime so could all change by 3pm Saturday ko at West Brom

I've been trying to temper my sons' worries about relegation. And whilst the table isn't good for confidence, the task is far more about the team starting to play football, than looking at league position (at the moment). The squad is more than capable of competing in the Championship; maybe not top 6, but certainly not bottom 3. Vitor has a big job on his hands to deliver that though.

We will drop into bottom 3 this weekend I have 0 doubt about that. And my expectations for a result this Saturday is low. Its all about the games after that and then working on getting out of the mix. More pain ahead but hopefully for only a short time.

Sheffield United are not going to be anywhere near the bottom of the table, in my humble opinion. So they can be crossed off, in terms of being a relegation ‘rival’. As Monmouth stated we need to get our act together and not focus on the teams around us until, later in the season. A few wins and you can shoot up the table. I’m not sure if things will get better this Saturday, but I would hope we see some progress in the 2 matches after Saturday. Anyway ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!!

I would say Norwich the same

Makes no difference until next May. We need to get our act together and start winning, no matter what anyone else does. If we can't do that we're going down in May no matter what the table says tonight or Saturday.
You are 100% correct. However I'm still going to hope for an Ipswich win as I watch this game tonight.

Not going to plan so far.

Commentators… Ipswich can go second tonight… Mark Harris scores 🤦‍♂️
Ipswich 76 per cent possession, 0 shots on target and losing. What is the point of that. Oxford 24 per cent possession, 5 shots on target and winning, which is all that matters.

If we can get a draw at the Hawthorns I’ll regard it as a victory - stopping the rot and a bit of relief compared to the last 4 games
